Across the courses, I had the opportunity to work with more than 90 chamber, association, and nonprofit leaders, and I learned as much from your questions, stories, and experiences as I hope you learned from me.

How Do We Build Organizations That People Still Want To Belong To, Contribute To, and Lead - What I’m Teaching at Institute This Week
I am returning to Northeast Institute for Organization Management as a faculty member, teaching four courses that, on the surface, address different parts of organizational leadership: membership, organizational relevance, delegation, and innovation. Yet, despite the range of experience in the room and the different subjects I’ll be teaching, all four courses are asking versions of the same question: How do we build organizations that people still want to belong to, contribute to, and lead?

The course also covered essential skills like Fanatic Discipline, Productive Paranoia, and Empirical Creativity, highlighting the importance of creating a compelling vision for organizational success. By fostering environments where trust and motivation thrive, leaders can drive their teams toward long-term success and growth.

I am excited to share that this week, as a faculty member of the US Chamber's Institute for Organization Management, I will be teaching over 30 enthusiastic nonprofit leaders on a subject close to my heart: "Managers Who Motivate."
